Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.” We often don’t realize the drastic need to encourage others until we find ourselves in need of encouragement. After a tough day, we need encouraged to “not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” During a long night with a sick child, we need encouraged that “joy cometh in the morning.” Before a big event, we need encouraged that we “can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth” us. When we feel weak, we need encouraged that His “grace is sufficient”, for His “strength is made perfect in weakness.” In times of persecution, we need encouraged that “the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” When we feel unsure about what the future holds, we need encouraged to “lean not unto thine own understanding”, but to “acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” We want our friends and family to remind us of these and the many more Truths that can encourage us, but we should want to be the one to encourage others even more. Would someone call you an encourager? May we all strive to be an encouragement to others in their time of need, so that we our time comes around, the Lord will send an encourager to our side. When we feel like we are alone and need encouraged, let us follow David’s example…”David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.” Bible Reading: Ruth 3 | Romans 4 | Psalm 90

Actually, it would be right for us to encourage other people to be closer to God. I am sure that there will be people who will be hesitant to follow several advices from you, but if you are eager enough to make things work on you, their hearts will soften and will try to welcome God in their hearts. Trust men inspiring people is either easy or not--- it will never stay in the middle unless you make it happen. Once they realize that, they will be thankful to you!
