August 13 - Find, Save & Preserve.

Mark 8:35
"For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it."
 
When we give our life to the Lord and are willing to do whatever He pleases and purposes with us, we shall find, save and preserve our life through Him.
 
Matthew 16:25
"For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it."
 
Luke 9:24
"For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it."
 
Luke 17:33
"Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it."
 
Isn't that just what Christ did in us?
He found us, when we could not find our way to Him.
He saved us, when we could not save ourselves.
He preserves us, because we could not keep our salvation on our own.
He also preserves us because He has plans for us that we cannot see right now so that His glory can shine through us.
 
When we delight in Him, He will change our fleshly aspirations for the desires that fit His will for our lives.
 
If we want to find our purpose in life...
If we want to be saved from everlasting destruction...
If we want to be preserved from the turmoil of this life...
We must lose our lives to Him.
 
Give yourself to Him. He is waiting with open arms to receive you and use you for His glory. Exchange your desires for his.
