August 6 - The Way Of Wisdom.

Proverbs 4:10
“Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.
 
Similar to the opening verses of Proverbs 2, Solomon reiterates the blessings available to those who receive the Word of Wisdom.
 
Proverbs 4:11-12
“I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble.”
 
Just as there is only One Way to Heaven, there is only One Way of Wisdom.
 
Psalm 18:30
“As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.”
 
John 14:6
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
 
He will lead us in the right paths, if only we will seek His direction.
Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
 
He will order our steps and delight in us, as we delight in Him.
Psalm 37:23
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.”
 
Allow the Lord to teach you today in the Way of Wisdom.
Seek His direction, and not your own.
Delight in Him, and watch as He orders each step you take.
