December 10 - An Excellent Gift.

Proverbs 17:7
“Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.
 
The Gospel of the Word of God is the most excellent speech that can ever be uttered; yet fools cannot truly speak of that which they do not possess.
 
Psalm 14:1
“The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.”
 
The wicked cannot declare the Gospel by experience, yet the Word of God will never return void. Anytime the Truth is presented, His Word will accomplish what He intended.
 
Isaiah 55:11
“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
 
The Gospel speaks of the Gift that God has given to the world that He loves so much. The free Gift of eternal life is found in His Son, Jesus Christ. All who confess and believe in His death, burial and resurrection will find salvation.
 
Romans 6:23
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
 
Romans 10:9
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
 
The Gift of Salvation is precious in the eyes of all who have received Him. God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
 
Proverbs 17:8
“A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth.”
