January 17 - Satisfied In Wisdom.

Proverbs 19:22
“The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar.”
 
It is better to desire to be good and fail than to proclaim to be good and lie. There is nothing good within any of us.
 
Romans 3:10-12
“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”
 
The only way to attain any goodness is to receive the Only Way and His goodness. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life; when we choose Him, we obtain eternal life through Him.
 
Proverbs 19:23
“The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.”
 
When we fear the Lord, we find satisfaction in Him.
With Him there is nothing to fear or desire, for nothing compares to Him.
 
Psalm 34:9-10
“O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.”
 
Choose to be satisfied in Wisdom today.
