Psalm 119:138
“Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful.” Every Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is made manifest within in the pages of the Word of God, because He is Faithful. Romans 16:25-27 “Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.” We are able to glorify and praise the Lord Jesus Christ because we learn through the Scriptures of His faithfulness. Isaiah 25:1 “O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.” The wonderful things He has done are pinned throughout the pages of our Bibles, waiting for us to learn more of Him and His faithfulness. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” God have us the Scriptures so that we could be instructed in His Righteousness, because He is Faithful. In the very last chapter of Revelation, we see yet another reminder that His Faithfulness is shown within the Word of God. Revelation 21:5 “And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” If we want the Lord to order our steps, we must remember the Faithfulness of God.
