May 4 - The Worth Of A Soul.

Matthew 16:26
“For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”
 
Christ gave His life on Calvary in order to save the souls of men. He did not hold anything back. He gave it all in order to save us from spending eternity in the Lake of Fire.
 
How much is a soul worth to you?
How much would you give to win a soul to Christ?
 
We can give our time, our talent, our treasure.
Whether verbally or by a Gospel tract, we must tell others the Truth of the Gospel.
 
What would those that are in hell right now say? If they doubted it before they experienced it, they now know what lies ahead for those who reject Christ. They are right now facing the punishment for their sin. They did not accept Christ’s payment, and chose to pay the debt themselves. How much would they give to have another chance to trust Christ?
 
The greatest love we can share to those around us is to share the Gospel with them. We can do all the good things we can, but if we do not share the love of Christ by telling what He did for them, we have failed miserably.
 
Where are our tears for the lost? We must weep over those that do not know Christ.
 
Psalm 126:5-6
“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”
 
We must endeavor to reach the lost before its eternally too late. We must tell the Good News of the Gospel with those who have not heard. Those that have heard, we must warn again.
 
We must weep. We must sow the Seed of the Gospel. We must give our lives so that others may know Christ. If we don’t, who will?
