November 16 - Plain Direction.

Proverbs 15:19
“The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain.”
 
God does not promise that the way of the righteous would be easy, for His Word tells us that our days are few and full of trouble.
 
Job 14:1
“Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.”
 
However, He does keep His promise that when His children seek to find the way in which they should go He would make it plain.
 
Proverbs 3:6
“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
 
As we place our trust in Him, exchanging our understanding for His Wisdom, He promises to direct us. Seeking His will for our lives must be a conscious and constant decision.  
 
Psalm 5:8
“Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.”
 
Psalm 27:11
“Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.”
 
When we seek His direction, we will find it…for He is the Way.
