Matthew 8:15
“And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.” She. She was the mother-in-law of the Apostle Peter. She is proof that Peter had a wife. Matthew 8:14 “And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever.” She was sick of a great fever. Luke 4:38 “And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.” Jesus touched her, and she was immediately healed. Mark 1:31 “And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.” Peter’s Mother In Law serves as an example of how one touch from the Master can transform us immediately. What a picture of the salvation that He so freely offers to all who believe on Him. John 5:24 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” Bible Reading: Ezekiel 29-30 | Mark 9 | Psalm 86-87
