Acts 6:8
“And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.” Don’t keep your faith to yourself. We must take our faith among the people and allow God to do the work in their hearts. Read through Acts 6 & 7 with this thought in mind – Stephen was a man full of faith. We need more people that are full of faith and not afraid to stand up for what they believe in – The Name of Jesus! Acts 6:9-10 “Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen. And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.” Even when people dispute us as we try to serve, we must keep our eyes on Jesus. The people disputed, stirred, and accused Stephen as they brought him before the council, but he remained silent. It was only when the high priest asked, “Are these things so?” that he began to speak. In comparing Acts 7 with the Hall of Faith in Hebrews 11, we see the order of Stephen’s message to the people matches what is pinned in Scripture. Stephen followed the example of faith left by those before him, and now we have Stephen also as an example for us to follow. The Lord Jesus stood at the throne because of Stephen was full of faith. Do we have enough faith that Jesus would feel the need to stand at His throne? What a humbling thought. Bible Reading: Jeremiah 45-46 | Galatians 4 | Psalm 98

I am glad that I have read this and this will surely help me as the story of it will ignite the part of me that was slowly being devoured by the sadness cause by the things in this world. I will share this to my friends for them to be notified about it as well.
