Proverbs 14:28-29
“In the multitude of people is the king's honour: but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince. He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.” When we truly possess Wisdom, His attributes will possess us. We can learn so much by observing how Christ conducted Himself with others. He is full of meekness and lowly in heart. Matthew 11:29 “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” The wise are slow to wrath and full of longsuffering. The meekness of Wisdom is to be found within His people. Ephesians 4:1-3 “I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Are you walking in meekness today? James 3:13 “Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.” Bible Reading: Jeremiah 45-46 | Galatians 3 | Proverbs 5
