November 7 - His Death Brings Us Hope.

Proverbs 14:31-32
“He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor. The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death.”
 
Sin will drive us away from God, but when we see ourselves as sinners we have the opportunity to run to Him.
 
His righteousness gives us hope, for He is our Hope.
Because of His death, we have the Blessed Hope of eternal life through Him.
 
1 John 5:11-13
“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
 
His Word brings us comfort despite our circumstances, for He is our Hope.
Because of His death, those that place their trust in Him feel only the shadow.
 
Psalm 23:4
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”
 
Our Hope brings Wisdom to our weary hearts when we seek Him through His Word.
 
Proverbs 14:33
“Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.”
 
Because of His death, we can have Hope today.
