Isaiah 58:11 “And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.” With every new year, come new expectations, frustrations and opportunities. More often than not, even with the best intentions, our resolutions fizzle out before winter gives way to Spring. Even though our motives may be sincere, our flesh usually gets in the way much sooner than we had hoped. Instead of relying upon ourselves to accomplish a resolution, may we choose to cling to this promise that we shall be guided by the Lord not just occasionally…but continually. He can and will continually guide us, if only we allow Him to do so. Psalm 32:8 “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” Even in the midst of drought, we shall be satisfied. No matter the desert, famine or wilderness we find ourselves in… He is enough. Sometimes He guides us out of our situation just so He can direct and protect us, all the while providing for our every need. Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Where God guides… He provides. Trust Him today. Bible Reading: Genesis 1-2 | John 1
