April 27 - Concealed Wisdom.

Proverbs 25:2-3
“It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter. The heaven for height, and the earth for depth, and the heart of kings is unsearchable.”
 
In all His unending glory, God chooses what He reveals or conceals to us until we reach our eternal home.
 
Romans 11:33
“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!”
 
His has no need for searching out the Truth, for He is the Truth.
He already knows. Nothing is hidden from Him and nothing surprises Him.
 
Our finite minds are literally unable to comprehend all that He is and does. We cannot understand why He does things, simply because His thoughts and ways are much higher than ours.
 
Isaiah 55:8-9
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
 
There is no comparison.
When we try to understand His ways, we have nowhere to even begin; for He has no beginning. When He chooses to conceal His reasoning from us, we have only one option – to trust Him.
 
Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
