Proverbs 24:7
“Wisdom is too high for a fool: he openeth not his mouth in the gate.” Wisdom is only too high for those who are too lazy to ask for Him. Proverbs 14:6 “A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth.” The wisdom that the foolish seek is only of this world. They often are ignorant to the fact that they need much More than the earthly wisdom they pursue. Those without Christ cannot discern that which is reserved for God’s children. 1 Corinthians 2:14 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” We cannot find Christ by seeking Him of our own wisdom or works. Yet, when anyone seeks Wisdom by coming unto Him by faith, they are never turned away. 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” If you hunger for Wisdom today, you can find it at the Lord’s Table. He has prepared your plate, and is waiting for you to simply receive the Bread of Life. John 6:35-37 “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” Come to His Table today.
