August 1 - He's Always There.

I Chronicles 28:20
“And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.”
 
We see this same promise reiterated all throughout Scripture. Our Lord will never fail us or forsake us. He’s always there!
 
Moses to Joshua
Deuteronomy 31:7-8
“And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it. And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.”
 
David to Solomon

To All Believers
Hebrews 13:5
“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
 
This promise is true for all who trust in Christ as their Saviour. Once we receive Him, He promises to never leave us. No matter how dark the journey may seem or how bleak the circumstances, He is always there. He is as close as the mention of His Name…Jesus.
 
Regardless of what you are facing, cling to this promise today. He is there with you and for you. Read His Word today, and meditate on the Truths and promises that He gives us all because He loves us. He’s always there!
