August 18 - Every Word.

Proverbs 30:5
“Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.”
 
What a lesson to be taught to all who will listen!
If we would live in the light of this verse, so many of our problems would be solved.
 
“Every word…”
There is comfort in knowing that not just some of the Words, but every single Word make a difference.
 
“Every word of God…”
When we open our Bibles, we must first consider Who is speaking.
Our words are not always true, nor those of our trusted friends and family; but when God speaks, we must remember that He is the Truth.
 
“Every word of God is pure…”
The Words that we read within the Word of God are pure.
His Words are proven to be without any blemishes, deceit or falsehood.
 
Psalm 12:6-7
“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.”
 
The pureness of His Words enables us to place our trust in Him.
 
He is our Shield.
Proverbs 30:5
“…he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.”
 
He is our Buckler.
Psalm 18:30
“As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.”
 
He is our Refuge.
Psalm 91:2
“I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”
 
Trust Him today.
There is protection, comfort, direction, and provision through Him.
 
Trust His Every Word.
Whatever you are going through today, you can trust every Word of His Word.
