August 2 - He Is Faithful.

1 Corinthians 1:9
“God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.”
 
Many times throughout the Scriptures we find phrases that reiterate the undeniable fact that God is Faithful. 
 
Search the Scriptures to find where a few of these phrases are found:
“God is faithful”
“the faithful God”
“thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth”
“great is thy faithfulness”
“Faithful is he that calleth you”
“But the Lord is faithful”
“for he is faithful that promised”
“she judged him faithful who had promised”
“was called Faithful and True”
 
It is a fact that He is Faithful.
Applying that fact to our lives makes it personal…He is Faithful to me.
 
It is the application of the facts through belief that makes the difference.
Whether or not we believe the truth does not make it any less true.
 
What truth are you having trouble believing today?
 
1 Corinthians 10:13
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
 
Consider what the Word of God says about your circumstance.
 
Psalm 100:5
“For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”
 
Ponder over how the Truth applies to your life, then choose to believe that He is Faithful.
