Romans 1:16
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” We live in a day and hour where many want a form of godliness, but when tested their faith fades into the darkness. Despite the persecutions and tribulations that the Apostle Paul faced, he remained unashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If he could be unashamed, so can we. Paul knew the difference that the Gospel had made in his life and he wanted to share it with everyone he could. When we realize the difference that the Gospel has made in our lives, we will want to tell others. We must proclaim the Gospel with boldness. Ephesians 6:19-20 “And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.” Just as Paul felt as if he ought to speak boldly of the Gospel, so should we. Do we have a desire to proclaim the Gospel? The very eternities of those around us hang in the balance if we keep the Good News to ourselves. We must be bold because the Gospel has life changing power. “for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth” Your life and eternity was changed when you believed the Gospel and put your faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. The power of the Gospel transformed your life. Are you willing to share that same life changing power with someone else? Choose today to be unashamed. Bible Reading: Esther 5-6 | James 3 | Psalm 9
