Proverbs 16:21-24
“The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning. Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly. The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips. Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.” How we conduct ourselves has an effect on those around us. Are our words sweet? How much others learn and grow depend on it. Isaiah 50:4 “The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.” With Wisdom in our hearts, our words and desires change as we learn. The more we understand the Word of God the more fully we can experience the life He intends for us to have through His Wisdom and grace. John 10:10-11 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” As our hearts are full of Wisdom, we have the opportunity to share Him with others through our words and actions. We either nurture or discourage every person’s perspective of the Truth found in Jesus Christ and His Word. Philippians 2:14-16 “Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.” How does your life reflect what you have learned by Wisdom?
