December 13 - Avoided By Wisdom.

Proverbs 17:11
“An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.”
 
Sin has a punishment; the payment must be paid.
 
Romans 6:23
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
 
We can only avoid paying the debt ourselves by trusting in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross. 
 
Proverbs 17:12
“Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly.”
 
The wrath of a fool should be avoided more than the fury of a protective momma bear of her children.
 
Proverbs 17:13
“Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.”
 
We live in a society which calls evil good and good evil; therefore evil abounds.
 
Psalm 38:20
“They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.”
 
By seeking what is right through the Truth of the Word of God, we can avoid death by sin and receive eternal life by His grace.
 
Romans 5:20-21
“Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Choose today to reject the things that can be avoided by Wisdom.
