Luke 13:13
“And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.” She. She was bowed together. Luke 13:11 “And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.” She was helpless. For eighteen years she had suffered at the hand of Satan, until she met Jesus. Luke 13:12 “And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.” She was healed. After Jesus spoke to her, she was never the same. Luke 13:16 “And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?” The Woman With A Spirit Of Infirmity serves as an example for us to remember what Christ has brought us from. Romans 5:20-21 “Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.” We were all bound in sin before we met Him.
