John 11:32
“Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.” She. She was once again at His feet. She spoke of her faith that the Lord could have healed Lazarus if He had been there before He died. She must have spoken though her tears as she sorrowed over the death of her brother. John 11:33-34 “When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.” Jesus saw her and the others weeping, He was moved with compassion. John 11:35 “Jesus wept.” It was His love for them that caused Him to weep and show His humanity. She saw His tears. She worshipped at His feet. She compelled Jesus to do something. She witnessed Him raising Lazarus from the dead. The miracle brought many people to Jesus, because she fell at His feet. Mary of Bethany also serves as an example of what a difference He can make in our lives when we are willing to fall at His feet. Bible Reading: Micah 1-2 | 2 Peter 2 | Psalm 144
