December 3 - She Hath Done...A Memorial.

Mark 14:9
“Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.”
 
She.
She did what she could, and her sacrifice is still remembered today.
 
Jesus promised.
The same promise is also found in Matthew.
 
Matthew 26:13
“Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her.”
 
She gave to Jesus.
She honored Him above all else.
She realized that He was about to give His life for the sins of the whole world.
 
Matthew 26:12
“For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.”
 
He did not forget her service to Him.
He remembered her, and promised that many others would remember her too.
 
Mary of Bethany also serves as an example that God remembers those who sacrifice for Him.
 
When we give to the Lord…He remembers.
