December 3 - Unbelief.

Matthew 13:58
“And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.”

Unbelief Is Has A Cost
They had the opportunity to see many mighty works done in Nazareth; yet, they missed out because of their unbelief.
 
Mark 6:5-6
“And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.”
 
Does God marvel at our unbelief? If we choose not to believe, He will find someone who does and they will receive the blessing.
 
What have we missed out on because of our unbelief that God could do a mighty work in our lives?
 
Unbelief Can Be Changed
Mark 9:24
“And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.”
 
This father had faith in Jesus, but admitted that he still had some unbelief within his heart. Christ not only cast the spirit from the man, but He compassionately took him by the hand, lifted him up, and delivered him to his father. He asked for grace and His grace was sufficient.
 
Our unbelief can be changed when we bring our need to Jesus. His grace is sufficient to meet our every need.
