Psalm 119:44
“So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.” God knows that even though we are saved, we will still have failures. Our flesh is at war with the Spirit that now lives within us, and sometimes the flesh gets the best of us. We must choose to which we yield ourselves. Romans 8:4-6 “That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” God does not expect us to live a perfect life; He knows that is impossible for us to do. He desires for us to live godly and righteously, striving to do our best for Him. Philippians 3:14 “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” The key is consistency. We must be persuaded to constantly live according to the Word of Truth. He is the Lamp unto our feet and the Light unto our path. We need only seek, follow, and yield to Him as He leads, guides, and directs us. The only way for us to live a life pleasing to God is to allow the Word of Truth to live it through us. For it is only through Him we can truly live. If we want the Lord to order our steps, we must consistently yield to Him each day. Bible Reading: Exodus 36-37 | Matthew 23 | Psalm 13
