Psalm 119:46
“I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.” Liberty in Christ Jesus not only makes us free, it allows us to be bold and unashamed. Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” When we remember where we came from, we too can be unashamed of Christ and His Word. Paul never forgot that he was “a debtor” who had experienced the power of God when he met Him on the road to Damascus. His life after that displayed his belief that if the Lord Jesus could save him, He could save anyone. Philippians 1:20-21 “According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Paul was in prison when he pinned these Words, and even behind bars his priority was the glory of Christ. He was unashamed so much that he was even willing to die so that others may know Him. What a testimony Paul had, and what an example for us to follow. If we want the Lord to order our steps, we must be unashamed of the Word of God. Bible Reading: Exodus 40 | Matthew 25 | Psalm 15
