February 26 - Don't Hide It.

II Corinthians 4:3
“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”
 
Have you ever tried to look through a set of glasses that were not your correct prescription? Your vision is blurred and out of focus. The details of the things around you are fuzzy and unclear. You are blinded.
 
Satan, the god of this world, has blinded those who have not received the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. He seeks to prevent the Light of the Gospel from shining in this dark world.
 
Are you hiding the Gospel today?
Have you placed a veil over the Light that lives within you?
 
If we hide our Light for Christ, we let Satan get the victory instead of allowing the glorious gospel of Christ to shine into this lost and dying world.
 
 “No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.” Luke 11:33
 
Set the Light of your candle on a candlestick for the entire world to see.
Be a Light to someone today.
 
When we share our Light with others, not only does God get glory, but it also makes the world brighter.
 
“Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.” Matthew 5:15
