February 28 - The Word Divides Our Problems.

Exodus 14:16
“But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.”
 
Moving forward by faith is not the end of journey, it is the beginning.
 
Moses and the children of Israel were at a dead end. Their enemies were pursuing them from behind, and the Red Sea was before them.
 
It seemed as if they had nowhere to turn… but God.
Ever been there? 
 
The Lord had instructed Moses through His Words of what he was supposed to do. Just as He does for us through the Word of God each and every time we open our Bibles.
 
Exodus 14:21
“And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.”
 
The Lord made a way when there seemed there was no way, because He is the Way.
The solution to their problem was found in their obedience to the His Word.
 
2 Timothy 2:15
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
 
It is only when we rightly divide the Word that the Word can divide our problems.
If we choose to take the Scripture for what we want It to mean, we only allow for misunderstanding and confusion. God is not the Author of either of those.
 
Our Answer is waiting within the pages of the Word, because He is the Answer. 
Ask Him to guide you in the Truth today, and watch Him begin to divide that problem that is before you.
