January 24 - Draw It Out.

Proverbs 20:5
“Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out.”
 
The Wisdom of God is like a well of water that never runs dry.
Just as the oceans cannot contain the love of God, there is nothing that can hold the depth of the riches of Him.
 
Romans 11:33
“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!”
 
As we seek His Wisdom, we receive the ability of discernment. The Word of God is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of our hearts, and as a result of this process we can learn to discern between Truth and error.
 
Hebrews 4:12
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
 
We cannot have discernment without knowing the Truth and choosing to apply the Truth to our lives. His Wisdom is always available to anyone, we need only ask Him.
 
James 1:5
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
 
Draw it out. Apply the Word to your heart and life today.
