Proverbs 20:7
“The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.” It has been said that integrity is doing what is right even when it is not convenient, strongly adhering to a code of moral values. Biblical integrity is shown through the lives of many people in the Scriptures. The most well known would probably be Job. Despite all the persecution and trouble he endured, he remained faithful to God. Even when his wife urged him to throw in the towel, his integrity never wavered. Job’s testimony still shines today and encourages us to keep the faith in the midst of our trials. Job 13:15 “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.” When we walk with integrity, we can speak the Truth. Psalm 15:1-2 “LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.” When we walk with integrity, we are secure. Psalm 26:1 “Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.” When we walk with integrity, we will see it in our children. 3 John 1:3-4 “For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” When we walk with integrity, we will see His direction. Proverbs 11:3 “The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.” Allow those around you to see a difference in you. Walk with integrity today, and every day. Bible Reading: Exodus 1-2 | Matthew 5 | Proverbs 26
