Psalm 119:29
“Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.” David desired for the sin of lying to be removed from his life. Not just him telling lies, but from the falsehood and deception of other beliefs and doctrines. He desired for the Truth of God’s Word to be applied to his life. Psalm 119:104 “Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.” There is so much deception in religion today that we must be able to discern what is right or wrong. How are we to discern the difference? James 1:5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” Proverbs 2:6-7 “For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.” We need only ask, and the Lord will give it to us. Wisdom and discernment are found within the pages of Scripture, the very Words of God. Notice how David asks to receive the Law…”graciously”. Within the Word of God is the Gospel given by His…grace. For it is by His grace we are saved through faith in His finished work. If we want the Lord to order our steps, we must not only discern the difference between right and wrong, but also receive His Word…graciously. Bible Reading: Exodus 7 | Matthew 8 | Proverbs 29

This article was great to read in 2017. In my opinion, this was one of the top superior papers of 2017 and not many articles came close to this. Whoever wrote this article did an excellent job.
