Proverbs 29:6
“In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice.” Why is it possible for the children of God to sing? There are many different songs we can sing as we rejoice in what God has done for us. These are just a few examples of how we can lift our voices unto Him. A Song of Salvation Psalm 95:1 “O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.” A Song of Deliverance Jeremiah 20:13 “Sing unto the LORD, praise ye the LORD: for he hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.” A Song of Mercy Psalm 89:1 “I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.” A Song of Praise Psalm 7:17 “I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.” A Song of Blessings Psalm 13:6 “I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.” No matter what you are going through today, there is still a song for you to sing. Regardless of our situation, we must remind ourselves of the Reason that we can sing. Exodus 15:12 “The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.” Bible Reading: Nehemiah 3-4 | Hebrews 4 | Proverbs 27
