June 14 - Unoffendable.

Psalm 119:165
“Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.”
 
When we truly love the Word of God, we are promised to have not just peace, but great peace. This peace can only come from our Lord Jesus Christ. He can give us a satisfaction that cannot be found within the world, but rather only the Word.
 
John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
 
Jesus Christ promised to give us peace. The simple requirement is that we love His Word. Our love for the Scriptures and the Word is shown forth when we become unoffendable.
 
When we apply the Truth of God’s Word that He is working everything for our good and His glory to our lives, we find that great peace. There is no explanation that warrants the vastness of the peace of God from His Word.
 
Philippians 4:7
“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
 
Keep your heart and mind on Him today, and rest in His peace.
 
Isaiah 26:3
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
 
If we want the Lord to order our steps, we must strive to be unoffendable because of our love for His Word.
