June 17 - Obey His Ways.

Psalm 119:168
“I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee.”
 
God sees every step that we take as we walk before Him. Nothing can be hid from the Lord, because He alone knows our hearts.
 
Psalm 139:1-3
“O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.”
 
Since He knows all our ways, should we not seek to obey? The omniscience of God should motivate us to live as His Word teaches. He knows everything about us; yet He still loves us, so much so He sent His only begotten Son to die for our sins.
 
“…for all my ways are before thee.”
He sees our ways, because He is the Way.
 
John 14:6
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
 
The Word of God is the Way of God. May we desire today to earnestly obey His Way as we walk through His Word.
 
Psalm 119:101
“I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.”
 
Psalm 128:1
“Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.”
 
If we want the Lord to order our steps, we must obey His Ways.
