Psalm 119:172
“My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.” Our supplication brings forth praise to the Lord for what He has done; and then that praise leads to speaking of the Truth of God’s Word. May the Word of the Lord be the abundance of our hearts so that we may speak His Word continually. Psalm 138:1-2 “I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee. I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” The Lord magnifies His Word above all His Name, showing us the importance of reading and applying the Word of God to our lives so that we may tell of Him to others. Deuteronomy 6:5-7 “And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.” When we love the Lord with all of our hearts, we will not only speak often of His Word, but also desire to teach others what we have found to be true. If we want the Lord to order our steps, we must speak His Word so that others may hear. Bible Reading: 2 Kings 19-20 | Ephesians 3 | Psalm 141
