June 27 - Stabilizing Wisdom.

Proverbs 28:2
“For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.”
 
When wickedness consumes a nation, chaos and turmoil abound; yet where there is Wisdom there is stability.
 
Proverbs 14:34
“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.”
 
The children of Israel experienced a roller coaster of rulers. There were many that did not please the Lord, and a few that did. This chaos continued throughout the judges and kings.
 
In these Last Days, no matter their location, a Christian can attest to both of these verses in reference to the state of their country.
 
There was and is a need for Wisdom.
 
Proverbs 4:7
“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”
 
Whatever the problem, Wisdom is the answer.
We must begin with a fear of the Lord. There is no Wisdom without fear of Him.
 
Psalm 111:10
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.”
 
Only Wisdom can provide the ability to overcome the sin of our flesh and the stability to the chaos of sin around us.
 
Isaiah 33:6
“And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.”
