March 27 - His Faithful Word.

Psalm 119:86
“All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.”

The Word of God is Faithful, because He is Faithful.

1 Corinthians 1:9
“God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.”

When other speak lies against us, God’s Word is faithful to right all wrongs. He longs to help and deliver us from persecution; though the more we are persecuted, the more the Word will be glorified.

2 Thessalonians 3:1-3
“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.”

God will deliver us, because His Word tells us that He is Faithful to do so.

1 Corinthians 10:13
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

God gave us His Word, so that we can faithfully share It with others.

Titus 1:9
“Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.”

Thank Him today for being Faithful by being faithful to His Word.

Psalm 1:2
“But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

If we want the Lord to order our steps, we must thank Him for His Faithful Word.
