Proverbs 22:12
“The eyes of the LORD preserve knowledge, and he overthroweth the words of the transgressor.” God has preserved His Word for His people in every generation. The preservation of the Word is so important because it is how we are able to have the Word today. Psalm 12:6-7 “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” Have you ever considered what life would be like without the Truth of the Scriptures? The Word is how God speaks to us, yet so many people across the world do not have the privilege of having their own copy of His Word. Many homes in America have multiple Bibles sitting on shelves and coffee tables collecting dust from lack of use. Right now there are people praying to receive what we take for granted every day. They desire Wisdom from the Word while we neglect to seek Him. Proverbs 2:6-7 “For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.” We have no means of knowledge without the Word of God. No Word, no Wisdom. If we want to know and understand, we must be willing to seek the Truth through reading and studying the Scriptures. God has given us the Answer to every question we have, and has preserved His Word so that we may know and understand. Bible Reading: Numbers 19-20 | Luke 19 | Proverbs 9
