May 17 - The Righteousness Of God.

Psalm 119:137
“Righteous art thou, O LORD, and upright are thy judgments.”
 
The Righteousness of God is synonymous with His Justice, His Holiness, and His Goodness.
He is Righteous because He is Just.
He is Righteous because He is Holy.
He is Righteous because He is Good.
 
He is Righteous in ALL His Ways.
Psalm 145:17
“The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.”
 
He is Righteous in ALL His Works.
Deuteronomy 32:4
“He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.”
 
His is Righteous in ALL His Word.
Psalm 119:160
“Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.”
 
The Righteousness of God is imparted to us through our faith in Jesus Christ.
Romans 3:22-24
“Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:”
 
If we want the Lord to order our steps, we must remember the Righteousness of God.
