May 24 - Everlasting Truth.

Psalm 119:144
“The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.”
 
The Righteousness that is revealed within the Word of God is the Righteousness of Jesus Christ; therefore it is everlasting. He is Everlasting and in Him is found everlasting life.
 
John 5:24
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
 
He freely gives everlasting life to all who believe His Word to be the Truth. Our faith comes from hearing the Word of God, and our belief in Him stems from our faith. True faith must be birthed within the Truth of the Word of God.
 
Psalm 119:142
“Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.”
 
John 20:31
“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
 
The Word of God teaches us of a well of water that springs up within us into everlasting life. This Water is only available through Jesus Christ.
 
John 4:14
“But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”
 
If we want the Lord to order our steps, we must cling to the everlasting Truth of the Word of God.
