May 25 - Sincerely Plead.

Psalm 119:145
“I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.”
 
Our prayers will only go as far as our heart will take them. If we speak words without sincerely meaning them within our hearts, our words will be in vain.
 
Psalm 119:10
“With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.”
 
We must seek the Lord with our whole heart, and we only do that by seeking Him through His Word.
 
Jeremiah 29:13
“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
 
The more effort we put into our prayer life, the more of God’s power we will see within our lives.
 
James 5:16
“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
 
If we want the Lord to order our steps, we must sincerely plead to the Lord in prayer.
