May 3 - The Practice Of Faith.

Mark 11:22
“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.”
 
Before every season of Major League Baseball, all 30 teams head south to Spring Training for a few months. They have daily workouts with their coaches and teammates for a few weeks, and then play several unofficial games with opposing teams in order to get themselves ready for when it really counts. They practice. 
 
As Christians, it is vital that we practice our faith.
The practice of faith comes in two forms:

1. The actual application or use of faith.
2. The repetition of exercising faith regularly.

 
We must not only possess faith; we must practice it.
The practice of faith is always directed to the Person of our faith.
 
Psalm 62:8
“Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.”
 
Faith is trusting Him. 
Faith is believing in Him.
 
We cannot please Him if we do not have faith.
 
Hebrews 11:6
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
 
Our desire should be to please Him.
Faith not only pleases Him, it brings glory and honor to Him.
 
Practice your faith in Him today.
