May 31 - He Is Always There.

Psalm 119:151
“Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.”
 
He is always near us. In those times when it feels like He is a million miles away, He has never left our side. What a comfort it is to know He is always there!
 
Psalm 46:1
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
 
No problem can separate us from Him; no obstacle can stop Him from coming to our side. When our enemies attack, He will fight for us. When trouble is near, He is just a prayer away.
 
Psalm 145:18
“The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.”
 
When we neglect to call upon Him, we are depending upon ourselves instead of relying on His strength. When our trust is in us, we are sure to fail. When a distance is present between God and His children, it is never placed there by His choice. We must continually draw near unto our Lord, placing our trust fully in Him.
 
Psalm 73:28
“But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all thy works.”
 
If we want the Lord to order our steps, we must remember He is always there.
