“It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.”
Begging God to work in our lives will only work if we are also doing our part in our walk with Him. Every day we wake up with the breath of life God has given us is an opportunity for us to seek and know Him more.
“Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.”
We will give an account for what we do with the time God has given us, so we must use every opportunity for His glory.
“And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.”
What are we doing with the time He has given us? It is time for us to seek Him.
“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.”
Our time is running short.
It is time.
“Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:”
If we want the Lord to order our steps, we must it is time for us to seek Him.
