“Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.”
Often in this chapter we find a love for God’s Word expressed.
Our devotion to The Word is directly proportional to our love for Him.
“O how love I thy law! It is my meditation all the day.”
Though others have made void the Word of God, we can choose to express our love for the Scriptures.
“Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness.”
Our desire to love the Word of God directly depends on our perspective of the Word.
“The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.”
If we want the Lord to order our steps, we must express our love for the Word of God.
