“The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.”
Even now, as you read, the Lord is watching.
He sees everything. The good, the bad, and the ugly…He sees it all.
2 Chronicles 16:9
“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him…”
He sees when we praise His Name and shout for joy.
He sees when we cannot utter a word without tears.
2 Kings 20:5
“Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee…”
He sees when we serve Him with gladness.
He sees when we murmur and complain.
“For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.”
He sees who we really are.
He sees what we think we are hiding from everyone.
He sees when we think no one is watching.
He sees where we are going each step of the way.
He sees why we choose to do or not do something.
In His infinite wisdom, God sees it all.
While this is a very convicting thought, it should also encourage us.
He cares about us and loves us enough to be aware of our every move.
“Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.”
Be thankful today that He sees you.
