November 12 - Useful Correction.

Proverbs 15:8-9
“The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.”

Our prayers are delightful to the Lord.
As we delight in Him, He also delights in us.
Psalm 18:19
“He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.”

Our obedience shows our love for Him, for He loved us first.
1 John 4:19
“We love him, because he first loved us.”

When we choose to disobey or neglect to do right, He corrects us in love.

Proverbs 15:10-12
“Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die. Hell and destruction are before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men? A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go unto the wise.”

Disobedience leads to destruction.
Our souls are safe in Him, but our testimony is a direct result of how we choose to live for a Him. 

Matthew 5:16
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Will you make the choice to let His correction make your light shine brighter for His glory?
