Proverbs 15:27-29
“He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live. The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things. The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.” When we allow Wisdom to take hold of our lives, we will begin to see His transforming power. He desires to conform us to be more like Him. Wisdom takes the greedy, and makes them generous. Acts 20:35 “I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Wisdom takes the impulsive, and makes them gracious. Colossians 4:5-6 “Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.” Choose to allow Wisdom to transform your life today. Renew your mind each day through the power of the Word of God. Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” When our minds are renewed through Him, we begin to see His will for our lives more clearly.
