Mark 5:27
“When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.” She. She had heard that He had healed many people of their infirmities. Luke 8:43 “And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,” She had heard of Jesus. Who told her about Him? The Scriptures do not tell us specifically who told this woman of Jesus, but someone did. That person told her of the Solution to her twelve-year long problem. He was the Answer to her need. Matthew 9:20 “And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:” She had faith in Him. Mark 5:28 “For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” She was healed because someone told her of Him. Mark 5:34 “And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.” The Woman With An Issue Of Blood also serves as an example of the importance of telling others about Jesus.
